Sticky Rice has a variety of traditional Thai cuisine as well as some house specials that we have put together to allow our customers to experience various flavors and ingredients out of the ordinary. We offer a delicious selection of Northern Thai cuisine that has unique flavors and sensation. Northern Thai cuisine is comprised of variety of flavors derived from the herbs and spices used in each dish. We try our best to bring out the wonderful tastes of our traditional cuisine so that our customers can enjoy it and remember us.

Northern Thai Cuisine

Northern Thai cuisine has a lot of influences from Burma and Laos. Most typical ingredients seen in northern Thai food are vegetables and meat. Northern Thai dishes are commonly paired with sticky rice (glutinous rice). It is common to combine many dishes together and eat with sticky rice, so you can taste many different items in one meal.

Nam Prik Ong

"Nam Prik Ong" resembles a Bolognese sauce/ dip. It is made with dried chilies, ground pork and tomato. It is commonly eaten with steamed or fresh vegetables and sticky rice.

Gang Hung Lay

"Gang Hung Lay" is a popular Burmese style stewed pork curry that can be eaten with white rice or sticky rice. The curry paste, tamarind juice, chilies, ginger, garlic, and tender pork chunks will definitely make your tummy satisfied.

Kow Soy

"Kow Soy" is also a popular Burmese influenced noodle soup dish. Our kow soy consists of boiled egg noodles and crispy egg noodles in a tasty coconut curry broth. It also comes with a side of lime, pickled cabbage, shallots, and cilantro. You can add more spice to it with our homemade chili oil.


Northern Thai Sausage “Sai-Ua” is our popular spicy pork sausage made with a variety of herbs and spices giving it a mild to medium heat. It is served with ginger, cilantro, and cabbage. It can be eaten as a starter or accompany your other meals as well.
